Thankful for Donors Choose
I just had to post quickly to share some wonderful news. My first Donors Choose project of the year, Learning in Comfort: Flexible Seating, was fully funded today! The project asked for two balance ball chairs, two wobble stools, four rolling chairs and a new rug. I posted the project last Friday and thanks to five generous donors, we will have this new furniture in our classroom very soon!
While I know they didn't support my project for recognition, I want to say thank you to our donors: Katherine Worley, Trish Lemm, Port City Party Bus, Rho, and an anonymous donor from our very own Lakewood neighborhood. This is such a great way to start the year, knowing that there are people close to our school who care about public education and support our students.
