Spelling Bee!
Today, we had our school Spelling Bee. And, boy, was it eventful! We are so proud of all the students who participated as their classroom winners!
We had some tough words like administration, severely, and slobbery but these spellers were not deterred!
In the end, 5th grader and reigning champion, Henry from Mrs. Resto's class, spelled the winning word, cipher! He will go on to participate in the Regional Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 17 starting at 9AM at Riverside High School. Congratulations, also, to our runners up. The first runner up was Jeremiah from Ms. Sempervive's 5th grade class, second runner up was Malachi from Mrs. Fuentes' 4th grade class and third runner up was Samani from Mrs. Kashala's 3rd grade class. All of them did a superb job!
