Black History Month Quiz Bowl
To celebrate Black History Month, Lakewood had our own Black History Quiz Bowl. Students studied and competed in classroom quiz bowls. Winners for the classroom participated in a school-wide quiz bowl.
The competition was fierce! But, finally, it came down to two. After a little bit of back and forth, we went into a lightning round and two fourth graders battled it out with rapid fire questions.
Finally, Ahmoni came out victorious. She was so happy, she was moved to tears. Congratulations Ahmoni!
An enormous thanks goes out to the "Lakewood Quartet" for their wonderful jazz music played during the quiz bowl. We are so luck to have community members support our school!
