What's Your Favorite Season?

Kindergarten finished up their enrichment unit on weather a few weeks back. Forgive me for not posting this sooner! Throughout the unit, students looked for patterns in the four seasons.

I'm not always good at taking pictures so, unfortunately, many of the thinking activities we did, I can't show you. But, Kindergartners did some incredible thinking when they organized information about the four seasons into a QUADRUPLE Venn diagram! We also did an art project that showed how trees look in each of the four seasons.

As a culmination, students surveyed their classmates on their favorite seasons and favorite types of weather.

Then, we organized our data into a bar graph and answered questions like, "Which season did most people like?" and "What was the least favorite type of weather?"
